#nil $NIL @Nillion
I was thinking about something recently. Imagine planning a $50,000 ETH trade, but before your conditions are met, other people can already see your intentions. That feels like a real problem for onchain traders.

This is where Nillion’s Covenants got me interested.

Instead of exposing every detail upfront, Covenants are designed to keep instructions encrypted until specific conditions are met. Imagine setting your rules in advance without immediately showing everyone your playbook. That’s the part I find genuinely interesting.

And then there’s Dusk on Ethereum mainnet. It adds another important step to Nillion’s vision of encrypted markets, where privacy could become useful in actual financial applications rather than just sounding good in theory.

Nillion’s roadmap has 7 eras, with Dusk marking the first stage of this journey and Darkfall planned to expand Covenants across the wider EVM ecosystem.

Of course, I don’t think privacy alone will solve everything. Execution, security, and real developer adoption still matter.

But what if traders could protect their strategies while applications still enforce the rules?

That’s the possibility I’m watching with $NIL . Not hype, just a practical problem that deserves a better solution. 🔐
