$NEAR : before calling it a short squeeze, check what the data actually shows.

Square posts are linking the move to liquidation clusters and falling open interest. That is a hypothesis worth testing, not proof by itself. Lower open interest means fewer outstanding contracts; it does not identify every closed position or separate voluntary exits from forced liquidations.

I would look for time-matched short-liquidation data and spot buying before trusting the squeeze explanation. If those checks support it and buyers keep bidding after the forced exits fade, the continuation case improves. If the liquidation evidence is missing or demand disappears, the explanation stays weak. I have not independently verified the reported figures or catalysts.

Futures is at 5.132. The lower boundary 4.926 and upper boundary 5.439 come from the low and high of the last 24 completed 1H candles, not proven multi-touch levels.

An hourly close above the upper boundary with a holding retest would support continuation. Falling back inside would invalidate that breakout attempt. Below the lower boundary, a failed reclaim would favor caution; recovery inside would weaken the bearish case.

A heatmap is not a promise that price must visit a target. Conditional commentary, not a confirmed trade signal.
