What makes @NillionCovenants interesting to me is not just privacy, but how it could change the way onchain instructions work.
With Dusk, the first release of Covenants on Ethereum mainnet, instructions can remain hidden until their conditions are satisfied. This opens up interesting possibilities for trading strategies and other applications where revealing an action too early could be a disadvantage.
Still, the concept needs to prove itself in practice. Adoption, security, and the irreversible nature of posted Covenants are all worth watching closely.
I’m interested to see what developers build as the roadmap progresses. Real use cases will tell us more than promises.
