The Blockchain 100 Award, presented by Binance in collaboration with global media and ecosystem partners, is an annual award that honors financial content creators who have made a profound impact on the industry through education, information sharing, and inspirational content. Binance invites you to participate and help decide who deserves a place on the list.

Event Timeline

How to Nominate Creators:

Anyone can nominate creators through the nomination survey on The Blockchain 100 event page, including self-nominations. You may nominate creators for different award categories. Each nomination can include the same creator for up to one category. There are five award categories in total:

• Media and ally partners of The Blockchain 100 can also submit nominations. 

• The nominee’s country or region of residence does not affect eligibility.

Nomination Period: 2026-10-13 09:00 (UTC) to 2026-10-16 15:59 (UTC)

Rules and Eligibility:

The nominated creators must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria and the additional requirement under each award category or sub-category to be shortlisted. 

• Basic eligibility criteria:

  • Must be a content creator who primarily produces educational or inspirational content on finance-related topics, including traditional finance and crypto;

  • Must have a public-facing identity with no major controversies;

  • Must have an active account with fewer than five Binance Square violations in since 2026-01-01, and no bans on Binance Square during the event (2026-10-13 09:00 UTC to 2026-10-29 09:00 UTC) or on major social platforms (e.g. X, YouTube).

• Additional requirements:

  • Community Influencer of the Year (meet all of the following):

    • Follower Count: Must have a minimum of 100,000 genuine followers on at least one major social media platform

    • Impact: Evaluated based on how widely their content is shared and discussed across the industry

    • Tenure: Consideration will be given to how long the creator has been contributing to the industry

  • Trader of the Year (meet at least one of the following):

    • A verifiable trading record on Binance or any other platform, including Spot, Futures, on-chain or TradFi.

    • Recognized and ranked in top under Binance’s smart money leaderboard, Binance Square leaderboard, lead trader leaderboard, etc. 

  • Content Creator of the Year

    • Submit the nominated creator’s most representative content piece, relevant to the award category for community voting and evaluation.

Shortlisted candidates will proceed to the community voting stage, and the final winners will be determined based on the voting results.

Selection Criteria:

After nominations close, candidates will be evaluated based on multiple factors, including but not limited to:

• The number and diversity of valid nominations (from online nominations or industry recommendations);

• Quantifiable influence, such as audience size (subscribers, followers);

• Engagement metrics, including views, likes, and shares;

• Industry impact, such as driving industry adoption, guiding public opinion, or promoting community development.

Shortlisted candidates will proceed to the community voting stage, and the final winners will be determined based on the voting results.

Community Voting:

Each Binance verified user can cast one vote per category and sub-category per day, with a maximum of five votes daily. Voting counts refresh daily at 00:00 (UTC). Remaining votes can be viewed on the event page. Rankings update daily at 00:00 (UTC) on the event page but are not final. Final results will be confirmed and announced on 2026-10-29 09:00 (UTC).

All votes must comply with the event Terms and Conditions, ineligible or rule-violating votes will be removed after the Voting Period. The final valid vote count will be published after Voting Period ends. After voting, each category will select winners from the top-ranked users on the leaderboard, totaling 100 creators.

Voting Period: 2026-10-19 09:00 (UTC) to 2026-10-28 15:59 (UTC)

All 100 winners will receive a physical trophy engraved with their name and award category.

In addition, the following 29 winners will be invited to attend Binance Blockchain Week 2026 in Bangkok, where they will join exclusive events and be honoured at the offline awards ceremony:

• Community Influencer of the Year: All 10 winners

• Trader of the Year: Top 10 winners

• Content Creator of the Year: Top 3 winners in each category (Best Live Streamer, Best Long-Form Creator, and Rising Star)

Terms and Conditions:

• The nomination may not be available in your region, the list of eligible regions may be updated periodically at Binance’s discretion.

• The following regions are excluded: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Mayotte, New Caledonia, Réunion, Saint Barthélemy, Saint Martin, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Wallis and Futuna, French Southern and Antarctic Lands.

• Participants (voters, nominees, awardees) must timeously cooperate with the organizers of this nomination. Instructions provided must be complied with as soon as reasonably possible, failing which participants may be disqualified or discounted.

• Participants agree to the processing of their information for the purpose of this nomination, subject to Binance’s Privacy Notice. 

• Illegally bulk-registered accounts or sub-accounts are not eligible to participate and will be removed at the end of the Voting Period. Batch voting (casting multiple votes simultaneously) will be considered invalid and removed daily as well as at the end of the Voting Period. 

• Binance reserves the right, at any time in its sole and absolute discretion, to determine and/or amend or vary these terms and conditions without prior notice, including but not limited to canceling, extending, terminating, or suspending this event, the eligibility terms and criteria, the selection, and the timing of any act to be done. All participants shall be bound by these amendments.

• Binance reserves the right to disqualify any participants who tamper with Binance program code or interfere with the operation of Binance program code with other software.

• Binance reserves the right of final interpretation of this announcement and the activities described in this announcement.
