$STRK has become one of the clearest outliers in this weekend’s crypto market.

In an October 11 Binance Futures snapshot, $STRK was up roughly 55% over 24 hours, with approximately $1.28 billion traded in STRKUSDT perpetuals during the same period.

The development worth watching is StarkWare’s October 10 statement supporting an independent Layer 1 as its preferred path toward faster quantum-security upgrades.

But that transition hasn’t been approved. There’s no finalized migration plan.

There’s also a near-term supply event: 127 million STRK are scheduled to unlock on October 15.

Heavy trading volume makes this rally difficult to ignore, but it doesn’t guarantee sustained demand.

The next test is whether spot buyers remain active as speculative positioning cools and the token unlock approaches.

Can STRK maintain momentum without relying on another wave of leveraged buying?
