The US government continues to transfer Bitcoin from its holdings. According to Arkham data, 12,267 Bitcoin worth approximately $1 billion were transferred from a government-linked wallet to different addresses.
Of this amount, 3,267 Bitcoin were sent to an address labeled Coinbase Prime. A day earlier, around $670 million worth of cryptocurrency had also been moved from government-linked addresses.
These transactions increased concerns about potential selling pressure, while Bitcoin fell below $81,000.
However, Coinbase Prime also provides custody services, and there has been no official announcement confirming that the US government has sold any Bitcoin.
