From blank-check shell to one of the largest public XRP treasuries. Evernorth’s Wall Street debut is worth a closer look. 📈
Evernorth Holdings has reportedly completed its merger with SPAC Armada Acquisition Corp II. The combined company now trades on Nasdaq as XRPN, replacing Armada’s former AACI ticker.
What’s been reported so far:
The deal was first announced in October 2025, targeting over $ 1
billion in gross proceeds, including $200 million from SBI Holdings. Ripple, Pantera Capital, Kraken and GSR were also named as investors. Most net proceeds are earmarked for open-market XRP purchases, with filings reportedly showing holdings above 388 million XRP.Beyond holding XRP, Evernorth says it plans to run XRP Ledger validators, provide liquidity, and use Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin to access DeFi yield, aiming to grow XRP per share over time.
Why it matters: This is a notable example of crypto exposure moving into traditional equity wrappers. For investors who prefer regulated, listed products, a vehicle like this offers another route to XRP. It also reflects broader institutional interest following US regulatory developments around Ripple.
There’s another side. Digital asset treasury companies are increasingly common, and Reuters noted concerns about spillover if equity markets correct. Share performance may also diverge from the underlying token, and plans like yield generation still need to prove themselves in practice.
Will treasury-style vehicles deepen institutional participation in crypto, or will the market become crowded and more selective?
