#evernorthdelaysnasdaqdebuttooct12 Evernorth delays XRPN Nasdaq debut to Oct. 12
Evernorth’s planned Nasdaq debut is moving again.
The XRP-focused treasury company now expects its Class A shares to begin trading under XRPN around Oct. 12, four days later than the previously expected Oct. 8 date.
The reason given is an administrative delay connected to the closing of its business combination with Armada Acquisition Corp. II. Importantly, there has been no reported change to the core terms of the transaction.
The current timeline points to the merger closing around Oct. 9, followed by the Nasdaq debut around Oct. 12, assuming the remaining closing conditions and listing requirements are satisfied.
That distinction matters.
Armada II shareholders already approved the transaction on Sept. 30, so a major approval hurdle has been cleared. But approval isn't the same as completion. Until the merger closes and Nasdaq confirms trading, there is still execution risk.
At closing, Evernorth is expected to hold roughly 473 million XRP alongside approximately $300 million in gross cash proceeds.
That makes the launch worth watching, but the real story may begin after XRPN actually starts trading.
How much liquidity appears?
How does the market value the treasury vehicle?
Does Evernorth continue accumulating XRP?
For now, the date moved. The thesis hasn't necessarily changed.
But in event-driven markets, the difference between expected and confirmed can matter quite a lot.
