A year ago, I lost $28K in crypto trading with 50x leverage. 💔

I thought I was done with trading forever.

Back in Jan–Feb 2025, I was heavily into $TRUMP and $MELANIA

Everywhere I looked, people were talking about $TRUMP going to $99–$100.

I got caught up in it, dipped into my savings, and started trading futures with 50x leverage.

Then the market turned.

My positions were liquidated.

-$28K. 🥀

Honestly, that hurt.

I stepped away from trading and focused completely on my real estate business.

That ended up taking off.

Today, we’re a team of 150+ people. 🏢

Then, about 5 months ago, I started trading again.

Not to win back the $28K.

I just missed the markets. 😅📈

But this time, I have my business, my team, and a completely different perspective.

Trading doesn’t have to be my whole life.

About 45–50 days ago, I also started posting more here.

I never expected much from it.

Now we’re already 15K+. 🟡

Looking back, it’s crazy:

Last year: -$28K and a liquidated account.
Today: 150+ people in my business, back to trading, and 15K+ people following the journey.

I haven’t won back that $28K.

And I’m not trying to.

Trading is something I enjoy now — not something I need.

America's Iran war is creating a problem that doesn't show up on the battlefield map:

DISTANCE.

The U.S. just pulled every bomber deployed to RAF Fairford in Britain back to bases in America after a suspected Iran-linked threat.

The Pentagon says that's fine—American bombers can strike from home.

Technically, yes.

But distance has a price.

In 2025, B-2s flew roughly 37 hours and 7,000 miles round trip from Missouri to strike Iran, requiring extensive aerial refueling.

And now the tanker fleet is taking losses.

A Pentagon watchdog report says 7 KC-135 refueling aircraft were destroyed or damaged during the war.

Then look at the Navy.

The USS Abraham Lincoln spent a staggering 265 days at sea during its Iran deployment.

The USS Gerald R. Ford endured a 326-day deployment.

And the carrier now operating in the region, USS George Washington, is normally based in Japan.

That's the bigger story:

America still has enormous military reach.

But sustaining that reach is becoming harder.

Bombers flying from the continental U.S. need more tanker support.

Carriers are spending extraordinary amounts of time away from port.

Crews are operating under prolonged combat conditions.

And every additional month of war puts more pressure on the people, aircraft, ships and logistics system that keep the whole machine moving.

The question isn't whether America can strike Iran from thousands of miles away.

It can.

The question is:

How long can the U.S. sustain this operational tempo without exhausting the people and platforms that make it possible?

That's the part worth watching as the war enters its eighth month.

In 2014, Changpeng Zhao — CZ, the founder of Binance — made a bet that looked crazy at the time.

He sold his Shanghai apartment for roughly $900,000.
