A few days ago, $SAND pumped toward $0.083. During that move, a short position worth around $145K got liquidated.
Then price pulled back toward $0.065.
Now look at it.
$SAND is back around $0.088. 👀
So why is price coming back to this area?
One possible reason is that there are still large short positions sitting above, creating liquidity for price to target.
That’s why I wouldn’t automatically think:
“$SAND already pumped hard, so it must be time to short.”
Markets don’t always stop just because an asset has already moved a lot.
Sometimes, price keeps pushing higher to hunt liquidity and squeeze more shorts before the real reversal happens.
