What matters to me in ZEC is not the 1,698 high. It is what time is doing to price after that move
The expansion from the 465 area was strong. A pullback followed but price did not fully return to the old structure. The compression around 1,300 suggests the market has not completely rejected the higher price regime
I do not see resistance as a fixed line. I see it as a layer of supply that can weaken over time. If price keeps holding beneath the same area while refusing to build a new balance lower down, the real question is no longer whether 1,700 can be broken. It is how much supply is actually left there
That is why I do not read the current compression in ZEC as simple weakness. Time may be wearing down the overhead supply more quietly than price action suggests. For me the key is not only for the 1,450–1,700 area to be crossed but for the market to accept it as a new reference zone
If that happens, 2,000 stops being just a target. It becomes the first natural area of the next repricing phase
For now, I am keeping the upside thesis on ZEC
