$FLT

Looking at $FLT on CMC now, I can see that the token has gone through quite a journey.

The current price is around $0.0057, while CMC records an all-time low of about $0.00099 in July 2026.

So when I look at FLT today, I’m not just looking at a number on a chart.

I was lucky enough to pick up a few FLT last year, and that makes watching the project evolve a little more interesting for me.

What I’ve learned is that FLT has utility beyond simply being the token associated with Fluence.

• Staking: FLT can be staked to help secure compute resources, while participants can earn staking rewards. Fluence has also introduced staking on Ethereum L1 as part of its newer token model.

• Compute security: FLT is used as an economic security layer around compute resources. Providers and stakers have capital at stake, helping create accountability around the capacity being provided.

• Governance: FLT holders can participate in @Fluence DAO governance, including proposals involving treasury management and protocol upgrades.

• Cloud payments: Customers can pay for compute using stablecoins, while FLT remains part of the staking, rewards and coordination layer rather than requiring every customer to use FLT for their compute bill.

• Platform revenue: Fluence has been developing mechanisms for FLT stakers to participate in revenue generated by the decentralized cloud platform. Its current staking page highlights revenue sharing alongside staking and liquidity.

• AI and GPUs: This is probably the part I’m paying the most attention to now. Fluence said in March 2026 that it was shifting its primary focus toward AI and GPU infrastructure, with 1,400+ GPUs across 32 regions and 71 data centers at that time.

I got a few tokens last year, and now I’m watching how the token’s role is evolving alongside the infrastructure itself.

I’ll definitely keep watching this one on Fluence.
