$AUKI is building something much bigger than AI and robotics. I've been researching Nils vision for Auki, and the problem he's trying to solve is easy to understand: Can AI truly understand the physical world? A robot can see and reason, but can it answer: Where is the ketchup, which shelf is it on, and what has changed since yesterday? GPS can't answer those questions. Auki breaks down robotics into six layers: locomotion, manipulation, spatial semantic perception, mapping, positioning and applications. Auki is focused on helping machines understand where they are, what exists around them, and the spatial relationships between objects. Robots, phones, AR glasses and sensors can contribute to a shared understanding of the same environment. Machines can perceive the world together. That's the foundation of the posemesh. Auki is building toward a Real World Web, where physical environments become accessible to AI and machines, providing a spatial intelligence layer for physical AI. The more I learn about what Nils and the Auki team are building, the more compelling the vision becomes. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tn1fZJsfzq8&pp=iggUQAFKEHV4YWY0Y0o5TVFYMEwtd2o%3D
