Former BlockDAG CEO Antony Turner has launched a YouTube channel called BlockDAG Truth & Transparency, where he accuses the project of misleading investors and calls for a regulatory investigation.
The allegations come after BlockDAG spent more than two years running its BDAG presale and claimed to have raised more than $400 million from investors.
Turner joined BlockDAG in mid-2024 and was publicly presented as its founder and CEO. Gurhan Kiziloz was later revealed as the project’s actual founder and owner. Turner was fired in December 2025.
Turner says he had no oversight of BlockDAG’s presale or treasury despite being CEO. He alleges marketing made promises the project could not fulfill and says token sales and bonuses exceeded twice the 50 billion BDAG allocated to the presale.
He also describes a failed community handover announced in December 2025. A profit-and-loss statement showed $35 million intended for the transition, but Turner says the funds and intellectual property were never transferred.
Turner says he personally covered project expenses and $50,000 in staff salaries before losing access to company systems.
He describes BlockDAG’s later sales campaigns and buyback promises as desperate attempts to bring in more money. Using one advertised offer, he calculated that $100 could buy 8.89 billion BDAG and that repurchasing those tokens at $0.04 would cost $355.6 million if all qualified. He called the prospect "absolutely baloney."
