A 45-year-old woman in France has reportedly been detained and placed under investigation over allegations involving market manipulation of Verasity ($VRA), organized fraud and money laundering.
According to French prosecutors:
She is being investigated alongside her British partner.
Authorities allege funds connected to crypto market manipulation were used to acquire property.
In 2022 alone, she reportedly invested more than €50M in Dubai real estate.
The portfolio allegedly included around 100 apartments + 3 luxury villas.
One property reportedly cost 68M AED (~€17.4M) and contained 73 apartments.
Rental income from 2022–2025 was reportedly at least €4M.
