The attacker allegedly compromised a backend system and spoofed transaction data to bypass authorization. Bitget says private keys were not compromised and the breach has been contained.
On-chain researchers had previously identified around $183M in suspicious transfers, creating a discrepancy with Bitget's $351.6M estimate.
