Binance, the world's largest crypto platform, will cease trading in the Ukrainian currency, the hryvnia, the company announced Wednesday.
#Binance will close UAH [grivna] deposits and withdrawals through Fiat Trade UAH and delist the spot trading pair [Tether] USDT/UAH," the statement reads.
The suspension will take effect on September 28, after which all open orders in the USDT/UAH spot trading pair will be automatically closed. Furthermore, if users do not manage their balances before the deadline, all remaining eligible UAH holdings will be automatically converted to USDT before September 30.
