None of the 15 large investors interviewed by Bitwise reduced their crypto holdings during a roughly 50% market fall between October 2025 and April 2026. According to NS3.AI, several of the investors added to their positions instead.

The investors said they would only exit if the investment case for crypto broke, such as through a regulatory reversal or an industry-wide scandal. Every investor that held crypto also held Bitcoin.
