$BTC
to $1.5M by 2030?
That’s the case Blockstream CEO Adam Back is making.
His argument is built around a few major factors: increasing institutional capital, Bitcoin’s fixed supply and the historical four-year cycle.
Bitcoin’s supply is capped at just under 21M $BTC , while the block reward continues to halve roughly every four years. The next halving is projected for 2028.
Back previously argued that $BTC could reach $500K–$1M this cycle. His latest projection pushes that much further toward $1.5M by the end of 2030.
A $1.5M Bitcoin would require massive growth from current levels.
Possible? Yes.
Guaranteed? Absolutely not.
Still, it’s interesting to think about what happens when increasing demand meets an increasingly constrained new supply.
