Personally, I don’t use Binance simply because it’s a well-known crypto platform.
I use it because I’ve found solutions to the problems I face as an African user.
Here are 5 reasons why I love Binance and why I’m sticking with it.
#WhyBinance
1- P2P
Here in Africa, banking and credit cards aren’t commonplace and can even be difficult to access. We’re more used to mobile money.
With Binance P2P, I can therefore buy or sell cryptocurrencies using mobile payment methods.
And with its large number of merchants who are always available and have sufficient liquidity, I have no trouble finding trades.
2- STOCKS & ETFs
As an investor living in Africa, I’ve struggled a lot to gain access to the US stock market. African stock exchanges don’t list shares in major US companies.
With the arrival of bStocks on Binance, buying shares in companies such as Tesla, Apple or Google has become as easy as buying Bitcoin. And on top of that, you benefit from the dividends paid out by these companies.
3- BINANCE WALLET
I can switch from the Binance ecosystem to Web3 whilst staying within the same app.
And unlike other CEX wallets, it is non-custodial.
I can therefore explore DApps, manage my tokens and interact with Web3 without any restrictions, whilst benefiting from the security of the parent platform.
4- BINANCE ACADEMY: the all-round crypto school.
Honestly, there’s no better place to learn about crypto than Binance Academy. Whatever your level, the courses range from beginner to expert, and what’s more, they’re free.
Whether you want to learn about crypto, blockchain, trading, Web3, etc.,
it’s all there.
5- Beyond the features offered by the platform, it’s the COMMUNITY that really stands out.
Enthusiasts who are always dynamic and committed.
Whether on social media, in online communities, or in person at meet-ups, you’ll meet people from all walks of life who share the same vision: Accessibility through education.
And that’s when you realise that Binance isn’t just a platform – it’s a family.
