💥 BITCOIN AT $87K PUTS ETF HOLDERS BACK IN PROFIT — BUT DEMAND REMAINS A QUESTION

Bitcoin’s move toward $87,000 has pushed the average U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF holder back into profit for the first time since January.

Bloomberg Intelligence estimates the ETFs’ buys-only cost basis at about $81,722 per BTC. The recovery is notable after ETF investors went from roughly $86.32 billion in unrealized gains on Oct. 6, 2025, to an estimated $780 million loss by Sept. 18, 2026.

But price recovery has outpaced capital flows. Cumulative ETF net inflows remain around $55.16 billion, about $6.03 billion below the October 2025 peak.

Last week ended almost flat at just $6.21 million of net inflows despite sharp daily swings.

Will breakeven encourage fresh ETF buying — or give sidelined holders a chance to exit?
