A coin can be trending. People can be talking about it everywhere. Someone can even tell you, “This is the next big thing.” But before you put your money in, stop and ask:
1️⃣ WHAT AM I ACTUALLY BUYING?
Do I understand what this asset or project is supposed to do?
2️⃣ WHY AM I BUYING IT?
Do I have a clear reason—or am I simply following other people's excitement?
3️⃣ WHAT CAN GO WRONG?
What are the major risks If I cannot identify the risks, I may not understand the investment well enough yet.
4️⃣ HOW MUCH CAN I AFFORD TO LOSE?
Never confuse money you hope to make with money you can actually afford to risk.
5️⃣ WHAT WOULD MAKE ME CHANGE MY MIND?
Before entering, know what information or circumstances would tell you that your original idea was wrong.
🧠 THE GOLDEN RULE: You don't have to buy something just because everyone else is buying it. Sometimes the best decision is: “I don't understand it yet, so I'll keep learning.” That's not missing out. That's discipline.
