Bitcoin rose above $85,000 on Monday for the first time in nine months, liquidating more than $400 million in leveraged short positions as Ethereum and XRP also advanced. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $593 million over Thursday and Friday last week, reversing earlier weekly outflows and producing a modest net inflow for the week, according to SoSoValue. CoinDesk reported that falling oil prices and signs of easing tensions between Washington and Tehran also helped fuel the move.
