A large liquidity figure is useful, but it does not tell the entire story.

The deeper question is how that capital behaves.

Does it remain available over time? Is it concentrated in a few markets? Does utilization change significantly? How quickly does liquidity respond when market conditions shift?

These questions help distinguish between capital that is merely present and capital that is actively supporting a financial market.

That distinction matters because decentralized money markets depend on liquidity that participants can actually interact with.

Analyzing liquidity through behavior, duration and distribution provides a much richer picture than relying on one headline metric.
