According to Sina Finance, Novo Nordisk shareholders are urging the pharmaceutical group to expand its product portfolio through acquisitions to reduce profit dependence on the diabetes drug Ozempic. Flossbach analyst Eugen Uretzki said the development potential of Novo Nordisk's assets "still remains to be proven," while Baillie Gifford investment manager Julia Angeles said the company needs to explain how it will transition away from reliance on Ozempic, with possible options including partnerships to explore more experimental therapies.
