$ZEC is moving fast — but after a move this strong, the real question is whether buyers can defend the breakout.
ZEC/USDT is trading around the $1,350 area, after reaching roughly $1,399 today. Yesterday’s session was even more aggressive, with ZEC closing near $1,338 after a 20%+ daily move. That tells me momentum is strong, but volatility is now extremely high.
The fundamental backdrop is adding fuel. Zcash holders recently backed the NU7 upgrade, including 25-second blocks, while the existing halving schedule remains in place. Recent coverage also points to strong institutional interest and a major increase in ZEC market participation.
Technically, I’m watching the $1,390–$1,400 zone very closely. A clean breakout above this area followed by a successful retest would strengthen the continuation setup. But if price gets rejected here, the first area I’d watch on a pullback is around $1,325–$1,330, followed by the broader $1,250–$1,280 region.
My current plan is not to chase the candle.
Entry: $1,330–$1,355 after a confirmed retest
TP1: $1,400
TP2: $1,500
Stop Loss: $1,285
Invalidation: Sustained breakdown below $1,285
The key signal for me is not simply “ZEC is bullish.” It is whether buyers can convert the recent breakout area into support. If they cannot, a deeper cooldown would be completely normal after such an explosive move.
Crypto is volatile, so position size and risk should always match your own strategy.
Would you wait for a retest here, or do you think ZEC can break $1,400 directly?
