Circle Expands $USDC Settlement & Launches Native cirBTC Support
Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire announced that the Circle x402 Facilitator service is now live on Arc, enabling USDC settlements across Arc, Base, and Polygon PoS through EIP-3009.
Meanwhile, Circle Mint users can now mint and redeem cirBTC directly within the app. Each cir$BTC is backed 1:1 by native Bitcoin (BTC) and can be exchanged for BTC at a 1:1 ratio.
