Snapchat boss Evan Spiegel told the BBC the company would be “willing to implement” daily time limits for teen users, after Meta urged other social media firms to adopt similar measures. Meta agreed in a recent US states settlement to pay $12.7bn and impose a two-hour daily limit for teens by default, along with muted notifications during school hours and blocks at night. Spiegel said such limits could be “an important step forward for the industry,” but gave no timeline for any change at Snap. BBC reported that Snap also unveiled new features for its upcoming Specs glasses, which will retail at $2,195 in the US and £1,995 in the UK and can connect to Apple iPhone and Mac devices.
