Trump Wants Interest Rates at 1% — or LOWER.

After the Fed raised rates to 3.75%–4.00%, Trump demanded an immediate reversal, arguing the U.S. deserves the world’s lowest borrowing costs because of its credit strength.

He also said America is "carrying" almost every country it runs a trade deficit with, claiming ending those relationships could bring in at least 1.5 trillion dollars a year.

The Fed just raised rates. Trump wants them slashed below 1%. The gap between the White House and the Fed is getting wider.
