There's an interesting detail when comparing Bitcoin's bear market cycles:
2015: -86%
2018: -84%
2022: -77%
2026 (currently): approximately -54%
Each previous bear market gave the impression that "BTC won't make a comeback this time," but then opened a new bull market. At the same time, the drawdown across these cycles is trending smaller.
Of course, -54% doesn't mean the bottom has been reached. BTC could still experience even deeper declines before the market truly turns around.
What I find more thought-provoking is: if BTC were to drop 70-80% one day, most people would call it a disaster. But looking back at history, it was precisely these periods that marked the beginning of a new cycle.
Bear markets always look scariest when you're living inside them.
