The European Union is working to ban social media for children under 13 and restrict technology and artificial intelligence services for older children, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said in her annual address Wednesday, according to Bloomberg.
Von der Leyen said the bloc is moving on the curbs as part of its approach to children’s online use.
