New positions are entering → trend can be strengthening.
🔴 Price ↓ + OI ↑
New positions are entering while price falls → ⚠️ potential short buildup.
🟡 Price ↑ + OI ↓
Shorts may be getting squeezed → move can be less sustainable.
🔵 Price ↓ + OI ↓
Positions are closing → the move may be losing momentum.
But never trade OI alone.
I combine:
Price + OI + Funding + Volume
That's where the real signal starts.
Don't trade the candle. Read the positioning.
