King Tai Fong International Holdings (09689) said independent non-executive director Ng Hoong Tat has resigned from her roles, effective last Friday (4), according to ETNet.

The company said it now has only two independent non-executive directors and is therefore not complying with Rule 3.10(1) and Rule 3.21 of the Listing Rules. It said it will try to find a replacement within three months. Ng resigned for personal reasons and confirmed she had no disagreement with the board and that there were no other matters related to her resignation that needed shareholders' or the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's attention.
