If you already spend time researching crypto and writing market analysis, Binance Square can turn that work into an additional revenue stream. I’ve used Write to Earn myself, and the biggest lesson is simple: chasing views alone isn’t enough. Useful content that helps readers discover markets and trade responsibly has much more value.
What is Binance Square Write to Earn?
Write to Earn is a Binance Square creator monetization program. Eligible creators can receive USDC commission rewards when qualifying users interact with supported trading links or token components associated with their Square content and generate eligible trading activity.
This is different from being paid simply for posting. Publishing a post does not guarantee USDC. Rewards depend on qualifying activity and the applicable campaign/program rules.
Binance may also run creator campaigns with different commission rates, rankings, tasks or reward pools, so always check the Write to Earn page inside Binance for the rules currently applicable to your account.
How are rewards calculated?
The key concept is eligible trading fees.
For qualifying content, Binance can attribute eligible trading activity generated through your content. Your creator reward is then calculated using the commission percentage applicable to you or to the specific campaign.
A simplified example:
If your eligible attributed activity generates 100 USDC in qualifying trading fees and your applicable commission rate is 20%, the corresponding commission would be 20 USDC.
This is only an illustration. Actual attribution, eligible products, commission percentages, settlement times, caps and exclusions are determined by Binance’s current Write to Earn rules.
This is why two posts with identical views can generate completely different revenue.
A post with 100,000 passive views might earn less than a highly relevant analysis read by 5,000 active traders.
What should you post?
Don’t select a token purely because you think it will generate commissions. Start with what traders are genuinely searching for.
I focus on:
- Binance-listed assets seeing unusual volume
- BTC and ETH around major market events
- Trending altcoins after breakouts or corrections
- Newly listed tokens with sufficient liquidity
- Tokens reacting to genuine project news
- Sectors gaining attention, such as AI, DeFi, RWA or stablecoin infrastructure
Use Binance’s own market data and trending sections to see where attention and liquidity are moving.
Never invent a reason for a pump just to publish quickly.
A sustainable content roadmap
My preferred approach is:
Research → Identify opportunity → Build thesis → Define risk → Publish → Review performance.
For trading content, explain why a level matters rather than simply posting “LONG” or “SHORT.”
A useful post might contain the current structure, support/resistance, invalidation, possible targets and what would make you change your view.
After publishing, study what worked. Which subjects generated followers? Which posts created meaningful discussion? Which produced eligible commissions?
Double down on formats that provide value, not clickbait.
Can this become passive income?
I wouldn’t describe Write to Earn as truly passive income.
Your older eligible content may continue producing value, but building consistent revenue requires research, publishing and maintaining audience trust.
Think of it as monetized distribution: you already research markets, and Binance Square gives that research another potential revenue channel.
Community rules matter
Revenue should never come before credibility.
Avoid guaranteed-return claims, fake profit screenshots, fabricated news, misleading targets, spam, plagiarism and excessive promotional content. Clearly distinguish analysis from facts and disclose conflicts or promotional relationships where relevant.
Never encourage users to overtrade simply to increase your commissions.
Binance Square’s Community Management Guidelines and the specific Write to Earn terms should always be checked because eligibility and program rules can change.
My biggest lesson
The creators who build something sustainable won’t necessarily be those posting the most signals.
They’ll be the ones readers return to before making a decision.
Build trust first.
Then attention follows.
And when useful content connects with genuine market activity, Write to Earn gives that attention a way to become measurable creator revenue.
Content → Trust → Distribution → Qualified activity → USDC rewards.
That’s the model.
