I’m looking at $XRP /USDT on the 1-hour timeframe here, and what’s catching my eye is the tight compression right around the 1.35 handle.
Price is currently at 1.3503, and we’re basically stuck in a micro-range between 1.3486 (recent low) and 1.3533 (recent spike). The 24h high of 1.3951 is clearly the big ceiling overhead, while the 24h low sits at 1.3272.
What I find interesting is that price is hugging the MA60 at 1.3497, but we aren’t seeing a decisive rejection or breakout yet. Volume is average, with the last 15m bar showing 144K XRP—nothing screaming urgency.
For me, the setup here needs a clear catalyst. I’m waiting for a solid push above that 1.3533 area to consider longs, as it would suggest short-term momentum shifting higher. However, I’m cautious because the 7-day performance is down -8.52%, so the broader trend isn't bullish.
📍 Entry: Above 1.3533
🎯 TP1: 1.3700
🎯 TP2: 1.3950
🛑 Invalidation: 1.3486
If price loses 1.3486, I’d step away from this setup because it would likely mean the current consolidation is resolving to the downside, and we could retest that 1.3272 low. Right now, I’m watching the reaction off the MA60 rather than forcing an entry. Confirmation matters more than chasing the move.
