#S&P500Rally Update — Tech Drags, Healthcare Holds Up (Sept 1, 2026)

Market's mostly red today. Tech is leading the pullback — chip names got hit hard: AMD -3.65%, INTC -3.41%, TXN -3.27%, even NVDA down -1.37%. Oracle also dropped -4.23%. AAPL is the outlier in green, +2.61%.

Communication Services mixed: GOOGL -0.80%, META -0.45%, but Netflix and Disney both up.

Consumer Cyclical weighed down by AMZN -2.08% and TSLA -2.61%.

Healthcare is the strongest sector today — UNH +2.39%, LLY +1.42%, JNJ +0.89%, mostly green across the board.

Financials steady too: JPM +0.86%, Citigroup +1.90%, Wells Fargo +1.59%. Energy and Consumer Defensive also holding up, XOM +1.16%, Walmart +1.20%.

Looks like a tech-led dip today while defensive sectors are picking up the slack. Worth watching if this rotation continues — could shift risk appetite in crypto markets too if broader equity weakness persists.
