Everyone wants to know whether $ETH has already bottomed.

I think the better question is:

What does ETH need to prove before the next major move?

Look at the weekly chart.

A descending trendline has been controlling price for a long time. ETH keeps getting rejected, falls back down, then builds another base.

But this time, ETH is approaching that trendline again.

If ETH breaks the trendline and gets a weekly close above it, the structure could change completely.

That would be the first real signal that the long-term downtrend is losing control.

A confirmed breakout could open the door toward the $4.8K–$5K area.

Until then, I’m watching the breakout rather than predicting it.
