#dusk $DUSK @Dusk
$BMT Been comparing Dusk's current tokenomics page against its June 2026 engineering update, since both describe the same block-reward split differently — and the gap actually changes what a staker earns.
What's live right now: block generator gets 70% plus up to an extra 10% based on credits, with any undistributed portion burned. Separately, 10% to a development fund, 5% to validation, 5% to ratification.
What the June 2026 update states instead: voters receive 10% of the previous block's reward, generator receives 90%.
Do the math on what that means for an actual reward. On Dusk's current per-block emission — 19.8574 DUSK — the four-way split leaves roughly 14-16 DUSK for the generator, 2 for development, 2 split across committees. The June-update version leaves about 18 DUSK for the generator, 2 for voters — no separate development-cut in that description. $TAC
That is still a hypothesis I want to state precisely: I can't confirm whether the June update superseded the four-way split entirely, describes a different reward-layer, or whether one document is simply stale. But a provisioner deciding whether the development fund still takes a permanent cut is deciding based on two documents that currently disagree.
If anyone's checked which version matches recent mainnet payouts, I'd want that compared against both descriptions here.
