#dusk $DUSK @Dusk
something i keep coming back to with Dusk is policy enforcement.
privacy alone doesnt solve the problem for regulated assets.
an institution may want transaction details hidden but the network still needs to know whether the transaction follows the required rules.
thats where Dusk becomes interesting to me.
the architecture is designed around programmable smart contracts, privacy preserving computation and rules that can be applied without making every piece of sensitive information public.
so the real value may not be “private transactions.”
it could be private transactions that remain enforceable.
That distinction matters.
because regulated finance usually cant choose between confidentiality and compliance. It needs both.
The harder question is whether these policy rules stay flexible enough when regulations change across different assets and jurisdictions.
thats something i want to understand better.
can Dusk make compliance programmable without making privacy weaker?
what's your take??
