🔥 $BTC & $ETH JUST EXPLODED — BUT IS THIS A NEW TREND OR A SHORT SQUEEZE? 👀

The market just delivered a brutal recovery, and sentiment has flipped fast.

$BTC pushed above $69.8K, gaining more than 8% in 24 hours, while $ETH completely outperformed with an explosive 18% move toward $2,245.

But here’s the part I’m watching:

This rally may be driven heavily by short liquidations + improving liquidity expectations, rather than a fully confirmed new uptrend.

More than 187,000 traders were reportedly liquidated over the past 24 hours, adding fuel to the move. 🔥

Technically, BTC is also stretching far above its short-term moving averages, which makes the current move look overheated.

🎯 BTC: $71K–$72K → major resistance zone
🚀 ETH: strong momentum, but signs of slowing near the highs

So I’m not calling the top.

But I’m also not chasing a vertical candle.

After a move this aggressive, the market may need some combination of:

• Consolidation
• Profit-taking
• Liquidity reset
• Moving-average retest

If the trend remains healthy after that reset, the next leg could be much more interesting.

For now, I’d rather protect profits than FOMO into strength. 👀

The real question:

Was this the beginning of a new trend—or simply the market violently repairing an overcrowded short side?

Let price answer that.
