The more I look into Dusk, the more I think the token itself is almost the easy part of RWA. Getting an asset on-chain and making it tradable sounds great, but then comes the real headache: what happens after issuance? Investor onboarding, transfer controls, payments, settlement, access rights — all the boring infrastructure that actually keeps financial markets running.

That’s what makes Dusk Trade interesting to me. The idea isn’t just to tokenize an asset and leave it there, but to bring more of its lifecycle on-chain while keeping privacy intact through selective disclosure. Because let’s be real, putting financial data on a public blockchain doesn’t mean everyone should automatically see everything. Investors may need privacy, while institutions and regulators still need a way to verify information when required.

That balance is probably where the real challenge is. Tokenization gets the attention, but the infrastructure around the asset is what could actually make RWA useful at scale. Now I’m much more interested in whether Dusk can turn that whole process into something institutions can realistically use.
