I’ll be honest, Dusk Network wasn’t a project I immediately understood.

But the more I looked into it, the more one thing started to stand out to me: privacy actually makes a lot of sense when you’re talking about financial applications.
@Dusk_Foundation
Dusk is a Layer-1 focused on bringing confidential transactions and smart contracts into finance, with its Confidential Security Contract (XSC) standard sitting at the center of that idea.

What I find interesting is the balance they’re trying to find.

Finance needs transparency, but it also deals with information that shouldn’t always be visible to everyone. Balances, transactions, and other sensitive details can’t simply be treated like public data forever.

That’s where Dusk starts making more sense to me.

I’m not looking at it as just another privacy chain. I’m more interested in whether this approach can actually make blockchain more practical for serious financial use.

The deeper I explore Dusk, the more I think privacy could become less of a “nice feature” and more of a requirement for the next generation of on-chain finance.

That’s what keeps me watching Dusk.

There’s still a lot to prove, but the problem it’s trying to solve is definitely worth paying attention to. 👀
