I kept thinking about how “fixed yield” can make something sound simpler than it really is. I initially imagined FT tokens working like a savings account, with regular payments giving holders something to watch along the way. Then the zero-coupon structure changed that picture for me. There’s no coupon, no periodic payout, and no small reward cycle keeping attention engaged. The token is bought at a discount and matures at par, so the yield is already sitting inside the entry price. What I find interesting is the behavior this creates. Holders don’t need to claim, reinvest, or constantly make decisions. They mostly just wait. That removes friction, but it also removes signals. And I keep wondering whether that quietness represents stable demand or simply a token that has become easy to forget.
