At first the thing that caught my attention about Dusk was privacy but now I think the more useful question is what happens after an application actually gets built on top of the network. A good privacy design is one thing, but developers still need room to create their own dApps without waiting for the protocol to add every new function themselves and this is where Dusk’s native dApp extensibility makes more sense to me.

If several applications are running at the same time, the network cannot just rely on stronger privacy and expect the rest to work itself out. Parallel execution is supposed to let independent operations run alongside each other instead of forcing everything through one long queue.
Privacy protects sensitive activity, dApp extensibility gives developers more freedom, and parallel execution deals with the amount of work the network can actually process.

I think this changes how I see @Dusk_Foundation a little. It isn't just about making private transactions. The bigger challenge is making privacy practical inside applications that people can actually use without the network becoming too restrictive or too slow.
I’m more interested in seeing what developers end up building with that freedom than another feature announcement. If the real applications arrive, that should show whether $DUSK has built useful infrastructure or just a long list of interesting technologies.
