bruh i have been thinking about this whole blockchain transparency debate wrong for years. like everyone screams wen public ledger but ngl having every single tx out in the open is kinda cooked for real finance.

DUSK flipped my brain on this. they donot make you choose between fully public or fully private. you get both lanes and a bridge between them called selective disclosure. show only whats needed when someone actually needs to verify. that’s it.

think about a corporate treasury settling with an auditor. on DUSK they can prove funds moved without leaking supplier names or balances. retail user does KYC without doxxing their whole portfolio. regulator gets audit trail but commercial strategy stays off-chain. thats the whole game.

the wild part is people still think radical openness equals trust. no cap it doesnot. verification and surveillance arenot the same thing. DUSK basically said why not build adaptive visibility where the ledger knows whos looking and adjusts what it reveals.

thats not a patch on top of some old chain. it’s the core design. and tbh as blockchain creeps into tradfi this isnot optional anymore. privacy isn’t anti compliance. DUSK proves they can run together without making everyone live in a glass house.

fr this is the only way institutions actually plug in without getting rugged by their own data. the wild part is they do this natively via Zero-Knowledge Proofs and their Citadel identity protocol, making it compliant with global regulations like MiCA from day one.

If institutions canot hide their commercial strategy from competitors, they just won't adopt public chains. Period. Will ZK-compliance chains like Dusk completely replace fully transparent L1s for enterprise use? What do you think?
