#bstockscis got a question in my dms asking if bStocks count as "real" stock ownership for tax purposes and honestly i didnt have a confident answer, so i went and actually read thru the docs instead of guessing. @BinanceCIS $AMZNB
short version: u hold a tokenized certificate backed 1:1 by a real share sitting with a regulated custodian, not the underlying equity itself in ur name directly. that distinction matters more than ppl realize, price exposure and dividend rights track the real stock, but legal ownership of the company sits with the custodian on ur behalf. its not some gray area synthetic derivative either, theres an actual asset backing every unit, just structured differently than owning shares thru a normal brokerage.

worth actually reading the docs before assuming anything here, especially if tax treatment matters for how u structure ur portfolio. did anyone here already look into how this gets treated where u live

Did u know the ownership structure before reading this?
Yeah already knew
