Venture capital firm Team8 said it has raised $365 million in new funding, including a $265 million third fund for Team8 Capital and more than $100 million for follow-on investments in existing portfolio companies. According to ChainCatcher, the new fund will focus on seed- and Series A-stage AI-native companies across cybersecurity, AI infrastructure, and fintech, with an emphasis on infrastructure projects that help enterprises deploy AI while maintaining security, governance, and control capabilities. Team8 said its assets under management are now close to $2 billion. The firm has previously backed several crypto and AI companies, including institutional crypto wallet developer Curv, AI compliance platform IVIX, and AI data loss prevention company Jazz.
