I think DuskEVM is interesting for a pretty simple reason.

Developers already know how to build on EVM. They don’t necessarily want to learn an entirely new stack just to experiment with privacy.

DuskEVM brings that familiar environment together with Dusk’s privacy infrastructure, including Hedger and ZK-based verification.

And this could matter beyond crypto-native apps.

For RWAs and financial applications, keeping certain information private isn’t a luxury. It can be a requirement.

So for me, the main thing to watch is whether Dusk can make private financial applications feel practical for existing EVM builders.

That’s a much bigger story than just launching another EVM.
