#bstockscis I opened my bStocks today and noticed that there’s a 1× or 4× badge next to the tokens. I never really paid attention to it before, but it turns out that it affects how the trading volume is counted.

I looked into what these 1×/4× labels actually mean and saw that Binance updated the rules for bStocks starting August 8.

On weekdays, selected bStocks get 4× Alpha Trading Volume, while all other bStocks remain at 1×.

On weekends, there’s no distinction — from Saturday 00:00 UTC to Sunday 23:59 UTC, all bStocks count as 1×.

So the same bStock can have a different multiplier depending on the day. What I like is that you don’t need to search for a separate list or remember everything manually — Binance shows the current 1× or 4× badge right next to the token.

Before a trade, I’ll check this badge first, and then look at the chart.

I noticed this detail completely by chance, but after I started using bStocks, these are exactly the kind of things I find interesting to check before trading.
