Something interesting is happening between crypto and TradFi
ETF perpetuals let you trade exposure to ETFs like semiconductor or country index funds, 24/7, on crypto exchanges. And they’ve exploded this year.
$116B+ in cumulative volume since January
About 170% average month over month growth
Binance now handles 74% of this market
Wildest stat: KORU (leveraged South Korea ETF) perpetual volume on Binance hit 148% of the underlying ETF’s own volume.
More trading is happening on the crypto version than the original fund.
Global ETF assets sit at a record $23.09T, so this is still early days. Worth watching.
Leveraged products carry real risk, so do your own research.
